Come to Harvest Fest This Friday!
Join us for our annual Jackman Harvest Fest on Friday, October 27 in support of the school’s gardens & eco-initiatives, to celebrate the start of the new school year and the harvest season!
We welcome everyone to dance, eat chili, hotdogs and baked treats, drink fresh squeezed lemonade, bob for apples, bring halloween costumes to swap, buy your pumpkins and celebrate at this festive social community event. You’ll also get the chance to meet your school council members as they serve chili & hot dogs!.
We need your help!
Starting tomorrow, in preparation for Harvest Fest we’ll be working with classes to make scarecrows at the front of the school. If you feel like helping, please come out and join in the fun!
You can also help us by:
- Make some delicious (nut free) treats for our bake sale
- Make a crock pot of chilli to share at Harvest Fest
- Donate books for our book sale or items (costumes, active gear, sport, dance, skates, boots, etc) for our free-cycle; You can drop donation items in the school foyer
- Setting up or cleaning up on the day of Harvest Fest
